EACH ONE, TEACH ONE
In addition to providing a collaborative and engaging space for teens to write, at #TeenWritersProject, we also want teens to be exposed to different genres of writing early, unlike I was as a teen. Although I thrive professionally as a multi-genre writer, had I been exposed to the various forms of writing in my teens, I could have started my career long before I did. As the African Proverb, Each One, Teach One, suggests, it is our responsibility as literary citizens to teach one once we learn. In that tradition, below, the writers, editors, designers, publishers and agents are here to help change the lives of teen writers by providing resources on craft and career in writing and publishing.

JOIN THE MOVEMENT
Serving on our Writers Advisory Board is easy. The hard part is turning down an opportunity to support a teen writer! Being involved is strictly voluntary and there are no meetings, financial obligation or time constraints. The only requirements for Board membership are that you are willing to have your name, title and business (current or former) with a link listed on our website and/or in our magazine, occasionally complete a survey to answer questions or provide feedback, and be intentional about spreading the word about our organization and Lit Zine.
These are other OPTIONAL ways to lend support:
These are other OPTIONAL ways to lend support:
- Write. Contribute content to our Lit Zine or agree to be interviewed by one of our teen writers.

- Pay-it-Forward. Mentor a teen writer, offer or secure an internship, make shadowing possible with your or someone in the industry, be inventive in how you can support.
