ROUGH DRAFTS: STREET SIDE MUSEUM PRESENTS
Public Art Exhibition & Community Conversation
The phenomenology of this exhibit creates room for community engagement by allowing the public to draw their own conclusions about how better to equip today's teens with strategies that revitalize their resilience.
Rough Drafts: Street Side Museum Presents is our public art exhibit and community conversation that showcases the creative storytelling of teen writers who have participated in our creative writing workshops and summer residency. It's how we celebrate the historical continuity of literary magazines around the world.
The event takes place in public spaces around the City of Dallas in collaboration with local artists, actors, theatres, musicians, gallery and museum curators, art directors, filmmakers, businesses, and the community.

Public art is a means for writers, artists, designers, architects, planners to articulate the implicit values of a city when its users occupy the place of determining what the city is.
