CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
History is being made and Gen Zers are living directly in its footpath. As the historians of this time, we're giving you this platform to share your experiences during one of the most impactful eras, ever! It is not only responsible but imperative that you document this history as it is happening so that, later, you can not only reflect on it but hopefully, learn, teach and evolve from it.
Submissions are always being considered. It's easy! Submit your best written work in your genre, or take a risk and write in another one! We'll review it and determine whether it is publish-worthy. We'll notify you if it is. We won't if it's not. Easy.

Call #1: Root Digging

In the 21st century, the age of technology, there is a startling disconnection between teens and their elders. Some are lost on how the past of their ancestors is relevant to their futures. As a solution, this writing call puts teens in the face of their pasts so that they can address, then re-tell, the significance of their ancestral inheritances.
The challenge is to interview, research and document family histories, in writing. We are looking for memoirs, scripts, short stories, novels, epics (long narrative poems), songs, essays that allow the elderly to preserve, clarify, correct, confirm, or add to the rich, historical records of their families, in print, that will speak for them when they are gone.
Before you submit, we encourage you to register for our genealogy workshop to help with your journey.

Call #2: May-December Melody

Take a historical journey down memory lane in pictures that tell, not where the story started, but where the story arrived. We're looking for the most stunning images of the elderly. Think you got a shot? We want it! Shoot it! Draw it! Sketch it! Sculpt it!
Call #3: If I Had an Hour

Find an image of an elderly person and write their story, in any genre, fiction or nonfiction. Include the image with your submission. The catch? Try to write your piece within an hour. Only you will know how long you actually took, but it's a challenge-to-self.
