LISTENING LABS

WHAT IS A LISTENING LAB:

Listening Labs are in-person conversations where teens talk about what actually matters to them: school, family, identity, culture, the world. No writing experience needed. We bring the prompt cards; you bring your perspective. With your permission, conversations are recorded so your ideas can grow into stories.

WHO IS IT FOR:
High school teens, ages 14–19, in North Texas who have something to say.
 

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: 

• Your voice is featured in The #TWP Quarterly, Ctrl+Z Teens, or Sound Stage Presents

• A chance to apply for a seat on our teen editorial board, helping shape what gets published.

• A path into High School-to-Hire and College-to-Career, with hands-on, paid experience in writing, editing, journalism, and media
