“While there are organizations out there that support writers—and even teen writers—there are few ones out there that allow teens to take the lead in their own activism and self-advocacy. #TeenWritersProject allows me to write the stories I haven’t seen written before.” —Workshop Participant
Writer's Studio
Whether you’re sorting out your feelings or bursting with epic tales, come dive into our chill space and write with us at The Writer’s Studio. Here, you can meet up with other teens a few times a month to scribble, dream, laugh, heal—this is your zone. Let’s write it out together.
By reading, writing, and exploring literature through workshops that take place outside of school, teens can celebrate the cultural, artistic, and social traditions, experiences, and contributions of writers before them, and consider them as a standard by which to measure their own literary style, achievements and success.
