COLLABORATIVE AND ENGAGING SPACE FOR TEENS TO WRITE

“Close the door. Write with no one looking over your shoulder. Don’t try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say. It’s the one and only thing you have to offer.” ~ Barbara Kingsolver

Writer-in-Residence

IN-PERSON
Each summer, #TeenWritersProject hosts four emerging teen writers in our Teen Writer-in-Residence program at a physical location. Teens will have the opportunity to focus on telling their stories, in an uninterrupted environment, with support from members of the literary community to fully develop their publishing pursuits!
If accepted, you will have the opportunity to stay with us for seven days during the summer to write, critique, discuss, learn and develop your writing skills in community with other teen writers and industry professionals!

In addition to a personalized writing plan, you will have access to daily workshops that can help you unlock your inner writer! In addition to having fun with other teens, you'll gain invaluable resources while you focus on your Work-in-Progress (WIP).
