JOIN THE MOVEMENT
The #TeenWritersProject Teen Editorial Board is a highly collaborative creative opportunity for teens to gain experience in leadership, life skill development, community service and reading, writing, social and cultural literacy. Not only will you work collaboratively with other teen and adult members to brainstorm and develop programming, you will develop, create and publish the #TeenWritersProject eZine, newsletter and annual anthology, and actively engage with teens to recruit, encourage, support, lead and have creative fun!
The #TeenWritersProject is for teens who are reading, writing and arts enthusiasts. You need not be a writer or artist to apply. Once accepted, Teen Board members will be required to attend all scheduled meetings, except in the case of dire circumstances. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and are considered as they arrive.

Galiba, a high school junior in New York City, has been passionate about writing ever since she was young. From creating short stories and writing research papers for her classes, writing has been a core part of her life. Galiba firmly believes that writing has helped her develop other skills such as being able to communicate with others and, as cheesy as it may sound, writing has helped her find peace in life. In her free time, Galiba likes writing poetry, listening to music and watching anime!
