Literary Cafe
"Reading is not a trend. It's a lifestyle."

This is an unforgettable day of creativity and community for teen writers and bookworms alike.
As summer ends, our Writing & Reading in the Park event invites teen writers and readers to connect in community before the school year begins.
"Create unforgettable memories..."

Teens come together to pen letters, poetry, and prose that reflect on where they've been, what's to come, and their hopes for the future.
“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies . . . The man who never reads lives only one." -George R.R. Martin

Throughout the day, teens can cozy up with your favorite book or discover a new one to be transported to other worlds!
We provide food to fuel creativity, live performances to spark inspiration, writing workshops to hone craft, a Writer's Notebook Kit to capture every idea, and plenty of fun.
Join us for a day of words, wonder, and reading in the park! It's a chance to reflect, celebrate, and imagine what their literary futures hold.
