Writing Wednesday In-School or After-School Workshops. Each Wednesday during school or in an after school club, we partner with high school teachers to provide rigorous, engaging and interactive writing workshops using pedagogy and resources that appeal to teachers but captivate teens!
Teen Editorial Board. Be a boss! Run meetings, plan projects and hold leadership positions is only part of what you'll take on as a volunteer teen board member. Being a member of our Teen Editorial Board is more than simply being in charge. If you want to learn transferable job skills, how to make smart decisions, work with a team, learn how to collaborate, prioritize, and engage the community through service and volunteerism, this is the program for you!
Craft & Career Speaker Series. If you struggle with knowing what to write, how to write, brainstorming, creating tension between two characters, or figuring out how to get paid to write, this series is for you! Join us in-person or online to jump-start your writing career or boost the one you have!
Weekend Writing Workshops. If your school or class does not offer our Writing Wednesday Workshops or if you can't find an opportunity to write during the week, our Weekend Writing Workshops are a perfect solution!
Job Training for Creative Teens. You have career options. Find yours in the literary arts! We expose teen writers to the viable career options that exist within writing and prepare them to get them!
Teen Writer-in-Residence. Four teen writers will have one-on-one assistance with a personal writing project, public readings, literary activities and a publishing team of industry experts!
Fiscal Sponsorship. #TeenWritersProject serves as a fiscal sponsor for organizations that support or provide creative and engaging opportunities that contribute to the growth and development of reading, writing, literacy, culture, the arts and education for teens around the globe.
