PEDAGOGY
During our visits, students explore classic and contemporary literature, film, and music that spark personal connections, so that they can write about the social and cultural anthropology of their world, play an active role in the broader community, and do well on high-stakes exams!

As students explore connecting writing and reading to real-life, they won't even realize that standards-based skills are applied as a power source to keep them thoroughly and thoughtfully engaged. These skills are paramount in the classroom but transferable to the professional world.

Students get excited again about writing in the classroom and learn why creative writing is important, and teachers discover strategies to spiral creative writing into their existing lesson plans.
