TEENS HAVE A STORY TO TELL.
WE HAVE A PLATFORM FOR THEM TO TELL IT.
OUR MISSION, VISION, and LITERARY CITIZENSHIP
Rooted in literary finesse...
#TeenWritersProject is a Dallas-based nonprofit 501(c)3 organization committed to making writing accessible, engaging and fun for teens, especially those in vulnerable populations.

#TeenWritersProject is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides a collaborative and engaging, safe space for teens to write, be published, and get paid.
We provide a collaborative and engaging space for teens to write, be published, and get paid as a means to promote creativity, agency, and equity in education and publishing.
Our vision is to improve and increase the reading, writing, social, cultural, and creative literacy of high school teens.
Real teens. Real stories. Real-world. Teenagers today are the creative and cultural griot of our time. They need a platform to tell their stories, and interpret teen experiences, in a space that allows them to think on their own and develop their own ideas without judgment. So, we give them space to be creative, imaginative, and free while also combating generational poverty.
